Animal Lover Triple Feature is possibly the squickiest Uncomfortable Brunch yet.

The programmers of Uncomfortable Brunch, the film series that pairs squicky art-house movies with a delicious brunch spread, are known for their twisted sense of humor. But making their Valentine’s show a showcase of stories about interspecies sex may take the cake. What’s even weirder is that these movies – two features and a short – are actually good. Dolphin Lover, the short, comprises an interview with a man who had a sexual relationship with a consenting (according to him) dolphin in his teens. Zoo, a 2007 documentary about a man in Washington state who died after an encounter with a horse, won accolades at both Sundance and Cannes. And Donkey Love, which delves into the surprisingly pervasive tradition of, well, donkey love in Colombia, has received praise from the likes of Michael Moore. In other words, none of them are porn. But out of respect, the brunch menu this month is entirely meatless.
